电表箱明装是指在不必要装修的地方，在不破坏原来墙面的情况下装线槽、接线盒、电度表、漏电珍爱器、互感器，如室外，配电室，加工棚等地方，直接安装在墙面上。

明装电表箱大致安装高度大于1.5M,同时需细致以下几点：

明装电表箱有塑料透明电表箱也有铁制电表箱。电表箱明装的话后期增设、替换都相对容易，可以随时添加新的线盒，但是不美观。
