这种复合材料由两部分组成:基体—聚酯类树脂；增强材料（简称PC、SMC)，所以又称其为透明PC材料、纤维增强的聚酯材料。透明PC材料、纤维增强型不饱和聚酯是一种以不饱和聚酯树脂为基体的复合材料。这种两种材料具有不溶、阻燃可回收特点，后一种材料具有不熔不可回收利用弊端其物理结构为三维网状结构，这四种材料通过功能性填料改性及特种纤维的增强已成为一种高性能的工程材料。
The composite is composed of two parts: matrix polyester resin, reinforced material (PC, SMC), so it is also called transparent PC material and fiber reinforced polyester. Transparent PC material and fiber reinforced unsaturated polyester are a kind of composite material based on unsaturated polyester resin. The two materials have the characteristics of insoluble, flame retarded and recoverable. The latter material has the disadvantages of non melting and unrecoverable, and its physical structure is three-dimensional network structure. The four materials have become a kind of high performance engineering materials through functional filler modification and special fiber enhancement.
